nora® Lunatec combi is an innovative product development in the area of vulcanised composite sheets: Two different proven nora® materials (EVA expanded sheets) are already vulcanised together during the manufacturing process to provide secure strength. These materials are firmly fused with one another and no longer need to be bonded. That makes nora® Lunatec combi the ideal basis for the manufacture of foot beddings and inserts.
nora® products give processors and patients the safety of proven and certified quality. Printed batch numbers ensure the trackability and traceability of products down to the raw materials used. The closed cell EVA materials represent hygienically washable and disinfectable products made in Germany, which are outstandingly well suited for sensitive feet in particular (e.g. diabetes, rheumatism, or geriatric foot).
nora® quality products are distinguished by excellent workability, particularly in regard to sanding, bonding, and outstanding thermoplastic mouldability. They also provide a broad spectrum of colours for applications involving all parts of the shoe, inserts, and technical orthopaedic applications. Including bright natural hues and classical dark colours as well as our diverse colour programme. Coordinated colours across many products make it possible to combine lifting and soling materials in matching colours. Our colour coding system, which is well-known throughout the industry, facilitates the search for the right colour.

Together with orthopaedic shoe manufacturers, we have prepared and documented practical examples for the widest variety of applications for nora® materials. This documentation provides examples of how nora® materials can be used in orthopaedic shoe engineering. The examples present possible individual applications and are designed to provide suggestions and ideas. Of course, in the practice of orthopaedic shoe engineering, there are also plenty of other possibilities and processing ideas. If you have any particularly interesting processing recommendations and would like to make them accessible to other processors, please contact us.

We are the only manufacturer to have already had our EVA materials successfully tested in line with the latest version 05/2011. This means that the nora® Luna product range, including the composite sheeting, has been certified in compliance with the most up-to-date requirements and had to fulfil several new criteria during the course of these tests.
