nora® Astro med 10 is a material with unique properties. It combines the advantages of an extremely soft material (approx. 10 Shore A) with excellent restoration capability and the advantages of a closed cell material. The closed cell structure prevents ichor and sweat and thus germs, bacteria and fungi from penetrating the material. Ichor adhering to the surface can by hygienically removed using commercially available disinfectants. Dynamic long-term stress tests have proven that a maximum deformation of approx. 8% remains after 24 hours of relief.
